A guided space to understand your patterns, rebuild emotional safety, and create healthier ways of communicating and connection.

You can love each other deeply and still find yourselves feeling unheard, disconnected, defensive, or stuck in the same arguments. Couples Couching offers a supportive space to understand what's underneath the patterns and create a healthier way forward - together.
You might benefit from Couples Coaching if you notice any of these in your relationship:

My approach provides a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where both partners can feel heard, understand the deeper patterns affecting their relationship, and work toward healthier communication, emotional safety, and meaningful connection. Together, we can explore:
We begin with a complimentary call to discuss your relationship, explore your goals, answer your questions, and determine whether couples coaching feels like the right fit.
If you choose to move forward, each partner completes three private individual sessions before the first joint session. This allows both of you to feel heard while helping us identify the experiences, beliefs, triggers, and deeper patterns each person brings into the relationship. This process is not about assigning blame—it is about building understanding, awareness, and a stronger foundation for working together.
We begin with a complimentary call. If couples coaching is the right fit, each partner then receives three private sessions to explore their individual experiences, needs, goals, and relationship patterns.
After completing the individual sessions, we come together to explore what has been uncovered, identify the cycles affecting your relationship, and begin creating greater understanding between you.
We develop a plan tailored to your relationship, with practical tools and continued support to help you communicate differently, rebuild emotional safety, repair disconnection, and create lasting change together.
Every couple’s experience is different, and specific results cannot be guaranteed. The changes you experience will depend on your individual circumstances and both partners’ willingness to show up honestly, take responsibility for their part, remain open to new approaches, and consistently apply the tools and insights between sessions. One partner’s growth can positively influence the relationship, but meaningful and lasting change within the relationship requires active participation from both people. I will guide, support, and challenge you, but neither partner nor the relationship can be “fixed” without mutual effort.
When every disagreement seems to become the same argument, the real issue is often not what you are fighting about—it is the deeper pattern leaving both partners feeling unheard, misunderstood, disconnected, or alone. Together, we work beneath the conflict to create healthier ways of understanding, communicating, and reconnecting. With both partners committed to the process, you may begin to experience:
Recognize the triggers, reactions, and protective behaviors that keep turning different disagreements into the same painful conflict—so you can begin responding differently.
Learn to express what is happening beneath the anger, silence, or defensiveness while listening in a way that helps both partners feel understood rather than dismissed.
Develop tools to manage heightened emotions and stay present during difficult conversations without yelling, shutting down, walking away, or saying things you later regret.
Understand the role each partner plays in the relationship dynamic, take responsibility without shame, and create boundaries and expectations that feel clear, fair, and respectful.
Learn healthier ways to communicate your needs, work through disagreements, and reconnect after conflict instead of allowing hurt, resentment, and emotional distance to continue building.
Create a relationship where both partners can feel emotionally safer, valued, supported, and connected—allowing trust, affection, vulnerability, and intimacy to grow again.
Couples coaching is not about proving who is right, deciding who is to blame, or asking one partner to carry all the responsibility for repairing the relationship. It is a supportive space where both voices matter, each partner can feel heard, and together we can understand the patterns occurring between you. The goal is not to work against one another—it is to build the awareness, accountability, and tools needed to begin working together.
Personalized coaching for couples who are both willing to participate, take accountability, and work toward healthier communication and connection. After completing the individual-first foundation, joint sessions provide continued support as you address relationship patterns, practice new tools, and create lasting change together.
If your partner is not ready or willing to participate, you can still begin your own healing and growth through individual coaching. We can work on your boundaries, communication, emotional responses, relationship patterns, and the choices within your control—even if your partner is not currently doing the work with you.
That’s okay—let’s talk. A complimentary call gives us an opportunity to discuss what you are experiencing, answer your questions, and determine whether couples coaching or individual relationship coaching may be the most appropriate place to begin. This call is required before beginning couples coaching, with no pressure or obligation to enroll.
Please reach us at info@eliteemotionalfreedom.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
No. Couples coaching is a collaborative, goal-oriented process focused on helping you understand relationship patterns, improve communication, develop practical tools, and create intentional changes moving forward. It does not diagnose or treat mental-health conditions and is not a substitute for services provided by a licensed marriage and family therapist or other mental-health professional.
Couples coaching and marriage therapy may complement one another. If either partner’s needs fall outside my scope of practice—or concerns arise that require clinical treatment—I will recommend seeking support from an appropriately licensed professional.
My approach begins by understanding the two individuals within the relationship—not only the conflict occurring between them. Each partner receives private sessions before joint coaching begins, allowing us to explore the personal experiences, triggers, beliefs, and patterns influencing the relationship. This creates a deeper foundation for joint sessions focused on awareness, accountability, emotional regulation, healthier communication, and meaningful connection.
Because every couple is different, the tools and strategies we use are personalized to your relationship rather than based on a one-size-fits-all process.
This is NOT a sales call. The complimentary call gives both partners an opportunity to share what is bringing them to coaching, discuss what they hope to change, ask questions, and learn more about my individual-first couples coaching process. It also allows us to determine whether couples coaching is an appropriate fit and whether both partners are willing to participate in the work.
Both partners are required to attend the call for it to be considered a couples coaching consultation. If only one partner attends, the conversation will be approached as an individual coaching consultation, and we can explore how I may support that person with the relationship concerns, boundaries, communication, and choices within their control.
The call is the required first step for all potential new clients, but there is no pressure or obligation to enroll. It is simply a chance for both of us to determine whether working together feels like the right fit.
No. My role is not to choose sides, assign blame, or identify one partner as “the problem.” I help both of you recognize the patterns occurring between you while encouraging each partner to take responsibility for their own choices, behaviors, and responses. Both voices matter, and the goal is to help you stop working against each other and begin addressing the problem together.
Information shared during individual sessions is handled with care and discretion according to the confidentiality terms outlined in your coaching agreement. I will not repeat every detail to your partner; however, themes identified during these sessions may help guide our joint work. If something needs to be addressed together, we will discuss how you can share it honestly and safely rather than using private sessions to create secrets or alliances within the relationship. Legal and safety-related exceptions to confidentiality will also be explained before coaching begins.
Couples coaching may support partners who are navigating infidelity, secrecy, betrayal, or other breaches of trust when both people are willing to be honest, take accountability, and participate in the repair process. We can explore the impact of what happened, establish boundaries and expectations, strengthen communication, and determine what rebuilding trust would require.
Coaching cannot guarantee reconciliation, and I will not pressure either partner to remain in the relationship. The goal is to help you gain clarity and make intentional decisions about whether—and how—you want to move forward.
Every relationship is different, so the total number of sessions will depend on your concerns, goals, history, and both partners’ willingness to participate and apply what you learn.
All couples begin with the individual-first foundation: three private sessions with each partner, followed by the first joint session. This creates an initial foundation of seven coaching sessions. Afterward, we will discuss what we have identified and create a personalized plan for continued joint or individual support. Some couples may need only a limited number of additional sessions, while deeper patterns, damaged trust, or long-standing conflict may require more consistent support.
Yes. All coaching sessions are held virtually, allowing you to receive support from the privacy and comfort of your own space. You will need a quiet, confidential location, a reliable internet connection, and a device with video and audio capabilities.
You can still begin with individual relationship coaching. We can work on the patterns, boundaries, communication, emotional responses, and choices within your control while helping you gain greater clarity about what you need from the relationship.
One partner’s growth can positively influence the relationship dynamic, but it cannot guarantee that the other partner will change. Couples coaching can begin when both partners are willing to participate, take accountability, and engage in the process.
Stronger understanding, healthier communication and a more connected future - together!
